      Danken specializes in middle/upper end residential kitchen and bathroom remodeling. We are looking for motivated and responsible individuals to join our growing team. We are willing to build on the training of individuals that want to develop a career in the industry. 

Position #1 -  Residential Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeler/Carpenter

Qualifications/Requirements:

    • 5 years of professional, on-the-job carpentry/remodeling experience
    • Must show a pattern of longevity at previous jobs
    • Proficiency with hand and power tools
    • Accuracy with measuring 
    • Eagerness to expand their skillset
    • Should be self-motivated and reliable
    • Have good people skills
    • Ability to be a team player

Remodeling skills learned (any that you have are beneficial when applying):

    • Residential demolition
    • Residential framing
    • Basic electric
    • Basic plumbing
    • Drywall installation and finishing
    • Cabinetry installation
    • Finish trim and cabinet molding work
    • Tile installation (bath walls, flooring, backsplash)
    • Flooring installation (LVT, hardwood, tile)
    • Window and door installation
    • Basic siding and roofing

Position #2 -  Secretary/Receptionist - Full Time

Qualifications/Requirements:

    • M-F 7:00am - 4:30pm
    • 4 years of professional in-office experience
    • Affluent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Quickbooks Desktop
    • Friendly, welcoming demeaner
    • Longevity at previous jobs
    • Speaks clearly/good phone etiquette
    • Ability to deal with customers/vendors in a courteous, efficient manner
    • Can facilitate conflict resolution
    • Proficient office skills: Typing, spelling, grammar, proofreading, filing, accounting/math
    • Self-motivated and reliable
    • Good people skills and a team player

Receptionist Responsibilities:

    • Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
    • Communicate w/ customers and vendors (both phone and email)
    • Greet customers and salespeople at the office
    • Receive packages and deliveries
    • Collect and record customer payments
    • Monitor the company calendar

Secretarial Responsibilities:

    • Type notes, estimates, and contracts
    • Create job notes/estimates/contracts from both recordings and/or transcripts
    • Create, maintain, and scan customer files
    • Process incoming/outgoing mail
    • Perform routine bookkeeping tasks (create/enter invoices, pay vendors) 
    • Oversee and order office supplies
    • Regularly back-up and assist other staff members with various tasks
